Dirty Pierre's
About This Spot
Stepping into Dirty Pierre's, nestled at the heart of Forest Hills, is like entering a lively gathering spot where neighborhood warmth meets a spirited energy. The place hums with a casual buzz—friendly voices, clinking glasses, and the subtle sizzle of a kitchen working with confidence. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a corner where regulars and newcomers alike sink into comfort while the pace gently balances between relaxed and animated.
This hamburger haven carries the unmistakable charm of a well-loved local spot, where the menu feels thoughtfully crafted to satisfy simple cravings and culinary curiosities alike. Here, the classics—like a perfectly grilled burger with a melty slice of pepper jack cheese—sit comfortably alongside more adventurous choices such as Thai chili wings or a rich, enveloping French onion soup. It’s a place that invites you to linger over hearty plates, pairing good food with moments of easy conversation and laughter.
The atmosphere reflects a group of friends coming together, whether you’re popping in before a concert or winding down after one. Staff members are present in that quietly attentive way, making sure you feel well cared for without interrupting the flow of your night. There’s a genuine energy here that’s tactile—part welcoming bar, part neighborhood dining room—where the hum of happy voices confirms this isn’t just about food but about the shared experience at its core.
Dirty Pierre’s modest size adds to its charm, crafting a cozy but vibrant backdrop where the decor and vibe work in harmony to make each visit feel like a slightly festive pause in the day. It’s the kind of place where the portions are generous, and the conversations stretch on, comfortably filling the space as much as the hearty meals do.
Whether you’re drawn by the promise of a juicy steak sandwich, the comfort of a classic breakfast burrito, or a glass of red sangria to mark the moment, Dirty Pierre’s embodies the joy of discovering a local gem where food, warmth, and community come together effortlessly.

I don't tend to give a 5 star but this has been the best place I have been to. Very friendly staff and making sure we are good. Constantly asking if we were okay.

Atmosphere was great. Fun vibe. This is def the spot to go to before a concert. Burger, wings, steak sandwich was great.

This place is so fun, with great service and delicious food! The portions are extremely generous and reasonably priced, and everything was cooked to perfection. Even for such a small space, the wait was short on a Friday night. I love the decor and overall aesthetic and vibe of this place, and the energy here is top-notch! The owner was so friendly and welcoming, and hilarious, too. I’m not a big drinker, but they have a wide selection of beers and other drinks. This seems like a great neighborhood spot and I will definitely be back in the future!

This week I made my first visit to Dirty Pierre's. It's not like I had a choice. My husband and our friends are there several nights a week and since I am often out of town, I'd never been, so I was eager to see what the draw is - and it's really simple. Exceptional food, an amazing and friendly team and an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you're eating and drinking with a group of friends, rather than with a restaurant full of strangers. The best review I can give is that in the 4 days I've been in NYC, we've been at Dirty Pierre's 3 times - and we're already planning a return! If you're looking for great food, great prices in a warm and welcoming environment - this is the place (and the sangria alone is worth a visit!).

Had a great time here! Went in on a crazy busy afternoon before a concert and got in and served very quickly. The food was excellent and came out fast. There was a double charge on my card at the end of the night and Raquel the manager called me personally to take care of the refund. Great staff, that really cares. I recommend you check it out!

It's a neighborhood dive bar where lots of folks are regulars who have gotten to know each other. The food is excellent and the drinks flow freely. No reservations in any sense of the phrase in all the best ways

Such a great vibe for a local dive! A little bit roudy but a really fun time, and our bartender Matt was a hoot! Reminds me of New Orleans dive bars. Definitely visiting often!
